Meet The Owner

Marija-Jasna Bašić

I spent 15 years inside clinical trials as a Sr CRA and 3 years as Lead Central Monitor at SyneosHealth, one of the top 5 global CROs. That experience is now the service.
‍
I worked across international trials with sponsors including GSK, Pfizer, Merck, J&J, Teva, Eisai, and Daiichi Sankyo. Across every trial and every country, I saw the same site mistakes repeat. I raised sites intended for closure to top recruiters and activated sites with zero delays, all on the day of SIV.

I founded Monocytes to bring that field knowledge directly to sites and sponsors as a consultant. Two focused offers: Excellence & Prevention First, and Site Readiness for new sites.

Monocytes brings 15 years of field experience directly to sites and sponsors as a
consultant, not a monitor. The work focuses on two things: preventing the mistakes that
cost trials the most, and building new sites that are ready before the first sponsor
arrives.
